It is not people we battle with. We battle against dark rulers and principalities that attack the people. Ephesians 6:12 Rejection is a blessing in a bow wrapped in the gift of protection. We need to be praising the Lord, not only when he answers our prayers, but when he answers the prayers that we didn’t know we needed. He knows the beginning and the end. He knows what’s good for us. We need to be praising him even when our plans, thoughts, or prayers do not match what we thought they would be. Because we’re so conditioned to see what’s behind us that it blinds us from seeing whats ahead of us. God tries to save us from as much disappointment as he can. When we truly trust in him, then eventually all things will work together. It might not always look like what we wish or what we hope for. We have to believe that God knows what’s good for us. Because he has plans to prosper us, give us hope and a future that we may become more like him. (Jeremiah 29:11) Not everybody can go where God is taking you. Many roads lead you to a broken heart, but God provides a pathway out of each one. He sometimes has to peel back a layer of you that is rough. God allows pressure to help mold you into his alignment by refining you with purpose and promise. For example, Joseph's prison became the place of preparation. It was very hard to spend so many years in prison, but in the end God used that time to craft Joseph into who he needed to be for his purpose. He could be removing people who do not serve you or God. It can mean removing a job that is tearing you down more than building you up. It can be painful, but there’s a reason that pain remember its only temporary God has something better for you. Joy comes in the morning the spirit and the flesh are constantly at war with each other the spirit will remain while the flesh will be laid at rest which one will you feed today?
Ask yourself these questions:
How would this decision or carnal thought affect my eternity with God?
What are your anchors in your life that you create that is not from God?
